Wheel Blasting

From sandblasting to wheel blasting. At the start of the twentieth century it became apparent that steel was better protected against corrosion if the surface was intensively cleaned by sandblasting before applying a protective coating. Hence, wheel blasting was introduced. Hereby the blasting media is ejected with great force onto the work pieces that are being cleaned. Nowadays various types of machines are available, specifically designed for different industrial sectors.
